This page contains fun and clever science videos
Hopefully you will smile as you  watch!
Note: Colbert's videos may not be visible in countries outside of the US

The Hilarious Ones!

Great Microbiologists in stop motion with LEGOs! Listen to Leeuwenhoek and
Pasteur as their great discoveries are highlighted in this delightful video!

In response to the Large Hadron Rap, Funky 49 has made a rap to stand up for
Fermilab's own Tevatron!

Brian Malow is also known as The Science Comedian. He's got some funny stuff going on!
http://www.sciencecomedian.com Enjoy the "X walks into a bar...." jokes!
You know you want to hear them, go on....

Colbert is a huge fan of science. I loved his take on the Large Hadron Collider
He invites science authors onto his show quite often. One day I might list them all, maybe.
This is an advertisement from Bio-Rad, a supply company options for most of us cell and molecular biologists.
This song about how PCR (polymerase chain reaction) is done, spoofing the song "We are the World"  is fabulous!
In a follow up to the PCR song, Bio-Rad came up with this one, to the tune of "YMCA"
about the base molecules that make up DNA called 'GTCA", with more details about
the polymerase used to help make new DNA during PCR!

Simple chemistry at its finest. Hilarious chemical party wherein we can see some
quite "emo" noble gasses and a very curious explosive reaction!

This great computer animation about "Oxygen" as a student in "Element-ary" school is one of my all time favorites!

This video was made right here on the University of Illinois campus by some former

medical students. Understandable to those of you who have had histology and

cell biology!

The Onion is known for their amazingly sharp satire! Here they poke fun at genetic engineering and at Disney!

A funny take on boy bands, offering an option for us exhausted researchers who spend HOURS

using a great little device for dispensing small volumes called a micropipette.

Link here to my post about Colbert's piece on Tissue engineered meat! Very funny!

This video and the one that follows are from a couple of guys who take biochemical

pathways to the next level by rapping about them.
